Halle Berry: Snapshot
Beauty queen, successful model and actress – she was all those things. But Halle Berry really became a major star after her stunning performance as the wife of a death-row inmate in Monster’s Ball.
Her career has been a balance of big-budget commercial films (Die Another Day, the X-Men trilogy) with such critically acclaimed dramas as Spike Lee’s Jungle Fever and HBO’s Introducing Dorothy Dandridge, for which she won an Emmy and a Golden Globe. With Monster’s Ball, she became the first black woman to win an Oscar. (Dorothy Dandridge herself was the first black female nominee.)
Over the years, Berry has struggled to find a loving, lasting relationship. She was married to Atlanta Braves baseball player David Justice for four years and to singer Eric Benét for three. Both cheated on her, and she had to file a restraining order against Justice after their divorce. In her 20s, an unnamed boyfriend hit her so hard she suffered an 80 percent hearing loss in her left ear. Currently, she is happy with model Gabriel Aubrey, whom she met when the two posed for a Versace shoot together.
BERRY: ‘LOVE ISN’T ABOUT MATERIAL THINGS’

Actress HALLE BERRY hates being showered with gifts by boyfriend GABRIEL AUBRY, because she believes love isn’t about material things – it’s about “being a man of your word”. The Monster’s Ball star – who was previously married to baseball player David Justice and singer Eric Benet – insists she needs more than “trinkets and things” from Aubry, because she’s been “an idiot” before when it comes to men and relationships. She says, “He doesn’t have to buy things. For me, it is not about buying presents. It’s about being who you say you are, about being with someone. “It’s not about tokens, trinkets and material things, it’s about being a man of your word. “I have made all the wrong choices when it comes to love. I have been an idiot, so I have learnt to make different ones for myself – and it feels good.”
Halle Berry’s Picture

According to Cinematical, even if they come calling Halle Berry has no interest in reprising her role as Catwoman for the upcoming Justice League of America film.
“No, no! You guys didn’t like Catwoman the first time, and I’m not a masochist,” said Berry. “I love it [playing Catwoman], but my ego is in check, and I’m not just gonna do it for the sake of, you know, doing it for myself. I make movies for people, and if people don’t really want to see that, then I wouldn’t make the same mistake twice, obviously. I wouldn’t choose to do that.”
The new Justice League of America film is currently in development at Warner Bros where Kiernan and Michele Mulroney are working on the script.
Halle Berry To Shave Her Head in Movie

5 April 2007 (WENN)
Hollywood star Halle Berry’s new movie Nappily Ever After will include a scene where she shaves off all her hair. The Monster’s Ball Oscar-winner admits she is terrified about the scene, in which she will mimic Britney Spears – who was filmed by the paparazzi shaving herself bald in a California salon in February. Berry says, “In the course of the story something bad happens to my character’s hair and she shaves it all off. I’m scared to death but that’s what I must do. I suppose going bald could be a little exciting too, thought, so we’ll probably film the process from beginning to end.”
